Cantabil Family Spends a Memorable Day with Homeless and Destitute Residents of Apna Ghar
New Delhi: Leading apparel manufacturer and retail company Cantabil Retail India Limited organized a special humanitarian initiative in collaboration with Apna Ghar as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The initiative aimed not only to provide essential support to homeless and destitute individuals in Delhi and surrounding regions but also to foster dignity, belonging, and human connection.
Members of the Cantabil team visited Apna Ghar and spent quality time with its residents, reassuring them that society has not forgotten them. The program was built around four key pillars—care, human connection, nutrition, and recreation.

During the visit, the team distributed health and hygiene kits, engaged residents in meaningful conversations, and listened to their life stories. Through music and interactive activities, they created an atmosphere of warmth and emotional bonding. Nutritious meals and seasonal fruits were also distributed, while sports and light physical activities were organized to provide residents with a joyful and engaging experience.
As part of the initiative, Cantabil also donated medical rescue kits to the shelter home to ensure continued healthcare support for those in need.

According to the company, the initiative reflects its belief that social responsibility is just as important as sustainable business growth. To amplify the message and inspire wider participation, Cantabil has also released a short documentary film capturing the emotional and heartfelt moments from the day spent at Apna Ghar. The film beautifully portrays the smiles on the residents’ faces, their reflections on cherished memories from the past, and the priceless moments of dignity, happiness, and human connection that made the initiative truly meaningful.
The CSR campaign underscores Cantabil’s commitment to creating a more compassionate and inclusive society, where every individual is treated with dignity and care.
