New Delhi, November 1: India has created history by achieving three Guinness World Records under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA) — a national campaign focused on improving women’s health and family well-being. The initiative was organized by the Union Health Ministry and ran from September 17 to October 2, 2025.
Three World Records for Health Awareness
The campaign achieved three global records:
-
Most people registered on a health platform in one month – over 3.21 crore people.
-
Most people signed up online for breast cancer screening in one week – around 9.94 lakh women.
-
Most people registered for vital signs screening at the state level in one week – over 1.25 lakh participants.
These records show how India is using technology and awareness drives to encourage early health checkups and preventive care.
Massive Public Participation
The success of the campaign came from the strong participation of people across the country.
More than 20 government ministries, medical colleges, and private organizations took part. The campaign also saw huge community involvement, including:
-
Over 5 lakh Panchayati Raj representatives,
-
1.14 crore school and college students,
-
94 lakh self-help group members, and
-
5 lakh other community platform members.
This wide participation showed how communities can come together to make health awareness a national movement.
Promoting a Healthy and Empowered India
The campaign focused on women’s health, nutrition, and early disease detection. It encouraged families to take preventive health measures and adopt healthier lifestyles. By empowering women to take charge of their health, the initiative also supported the broader vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India).
A Step Forward in Digital Health
The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan proved how digital platforms can reach millions of people in a short time. It combined government efforts, technology, and public participation to make healthcare more accessible and inclusive.
This achievement not only set world records but also highlighted India’s growing strength in digital health innovation and community-driven progress.
