Idukki, June 23: Cardamom County by Xandari is hosting Clay Fire & Spice A Tandoor Odyssey, a culinary experience celebrating the art of live-fire cooking till July 20, 2026, 12:30 PM onwards. A month-long experience is designed around the warmth of traditional clay ovens, bringing together smoky Tandoori craftsmanship and Thekkady’s renowned locally sourced spices.
The experience offers travellers a great opportunity to gather around the hearth, witness chefs at work with open flames, and savour rich, comforting flavours inspired by the region.
Crafted specifically for the misty monsoon season at Thekkady, the menu features a selection of marinated meats, fresh regional seafood, and artisanal vegetarian delicacies, including Veg Sheekh Kabab, Chukandari Tikki, Dakshin Masala Kulcha, Tandoori Pineapple with Honey & Cinnamon, Ajwaini Paneer Tikka, Thiraga Kababs, and Tandoori Pomfret.
