Wishes and Blessings Marks 12 Years of Service; Inaugurates New Education Centre in Noida

The newly inaugurated centre, aims to bring out-of-school children from migrant families into structured learning. It will focus on foundational literacy and numeracy while providing a supportive environment to help children transition into the formal education system.

The need for the centre was identified during the organisation’s winter relief drives, where several children were found to be excluded from schooling due to migration and economic challenges. With this addition, the organisation now runs five learning centres across Assam, Delhi NCR and Jharkhand.

A special celebration was also held at the organisation’s old age home, Mann Ka Tilak, in Delhi, which marked eight years of service. The event brought together team members, their families and beneficiaries, reflecting the organisation’s multi-generational impact and community engagement.

Founded by Dr. Geetanjali Chopra, Wishes and Blessings has grown into a team of over 30 members and has impacted more than 50 lakh lives across urban, rural and tribal communities. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Chopra said,

“It feels like just yesterday when we embarked on this journey, and today we mark 12 years of impact. This would not have been possible without the trust of our supporters, the resilience of our beneficiaries, and the commitment of our team. As we move forward, we remain focused on reaching those still left behind, with renewed intent and deeper engagement.”

Adopting a holistic approach to development, the organisation works across accessible education, food security, skill development, elderly care and relief initiatives. It currently provides over 2,000 nutritious meals daily and has served more than one crore meals to date.

In addition, it operates two free-of-cost old age homes in Delhi and Vrindavan, supporting over 60 senior citizens, while continuing to run skill development programmes for individuals from low-income backgrounds.
