Kolkata, 17th August, 2026: Techno India University, West Bengal, is hosting Prof.Suborno Isaac Bari, World’s Youngest Professor, for a two-day visitation programme from 17th – 18th August, 2026, bringing together students, faculty members and members of the academic and innovation ecosystem for a series of engaging interactions centred around education, innovation, leadership and the limitless potential of young minds.
The programme, themed “Inspiring Minds, Igniting Futures,” provided the university community with an enriching opportunity to interact with Prof. Suborno and gain valuable insights into his remarkable academic journey, perspectives on education, and vision for the future. As part of the programme, Prof.Suborno was felicitated by Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury. Students of Techno India Group Public School, along with students from Techno Main Salt Lake and Techno India University also participated in the session, engaging in meaningful learning and interaction. The visit served as a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and inspiration, encouraging students to think beyond conventional boundaries and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
The programme commenced with a fireside chat between Prof. Suborno Isaac Bari and Mr. Meghdut Roychowdhury, Executive Director and Chief Innovation Officer, Techno India Group. The conversation explored Prof .Suborno’s remarkable academic journey, his approach to learning and education, the role of curiosity in shaping young minds, and the evolving landscape of innovation and technology. The engaging conversation offered valuable perspectives on the importance of challenging conventional thinking and creating new possibilities through knowledge and perseverance.
The day also included recreational engagements such as cycling and badminton, allowing for informal interactions and fostering a spirit of camaraderie. On 18th August, Prof. Suborno will engage with Techno India Group Public School students and top 50 students of Techno India University & TMSL followed by a general gathering and interactive session with faculty members.

Prof.Suborno Isaac Bari has been recognised with several prestigious honours for his achievements and contribution to education and youth inspiration. His recognitions include the Atal Bharat Gaurav Samman in 2025, Mirchi Excellence Award in 2025, Shrestha Bangali Samman in 2026 and Shikhya Bivushan Award in 2026 in Assam.
