Navi Mumbai, April 17: ITM Skills University has announced the launch of its new Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme for the 2026-28 academic session, introducing a comprehensive, industry-aligned curriculum designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving technology landscape. A distinctive feature of the programme is the provision of Apple MacBooks to all enrolled students for the duration of the course, reinforcing the university’s commitment to equipping learners with high-performance tools that reflect real-world industry environments.

While the MacBook provision has drawn significant attention, it represents only one component of a broader, thoughtfully designed academic ecosystem. The MCA programme is centered on cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity, fields where access to advanced computing resources is critical. By ensuring that students work with industry-relevant hardware from the outset, eliminating technological limitations that can hinder learning and better align academic training with professional expectations.

In addition to its technology-forward approach, the programme offers a guaranteed six-month paid internship with established industry partners. These internships are structured to provide meaningful, hands-on experience through live projects, enabling students to build practical skills and gain exposure to real business challenges. Complementing this is a personalized 1:1 mentorship model, where each student is paired with an experienced industry professional who provides guidance, career insights, and ongoing support throughout the programme.

ISU has also incorporated a global learning component through its “Study One Subject Abroad” initiative. This opportunity allows students to complete a module at an international partner institution, offering valuable global exposure and enhancing their competitiveness in an increasingly interconnected job market.

“This programme is designed to mirror the realities of today’s technology landscape,” said Mr. Saikiran Sondarkar, MCA Program Head at ITM Skills University. “By combining access to industry-standard tools, hands-on experience through paid internships, and personalized mentorship, we are ensuring that our students graduate not just with knowledge, but with the confidence and capability to contribute from day one.”

The university reports a strong placement support system, with 100% placement assistance and top offers reaching ₹16 LPA. With applications for the 2026-28 batch open until April 30, the MCA programme will be a forward-looking option for students seeking a blend of academic rigor, practical experience, and global perspective in the field of technology.
