The Sindhi Verso program was jointly organized at H.R. College, K.C. College, Bombay Teachers’ Training College, K.C. Law College, and K.M.K. Kundnani Pharmacy College, all colleges at Churchgate Campus under HSNC Board on the occasion of, International Sindhi Bhasha Diwas. Students from various colleges and schools under HSNC Board participated in the event, which included research paper presentations, a food festival, and cultural programs.
The event was organized under the leadership of Mr. Kishu Mansukhani, Trustee of HSNC Board, and guided by Principals Dr. Pooja Ramchandani, Dr. Tejashree Shanbagh, Mr. Bhagwan Balani, Dr. Kavita Lalchandani, and Dr. Rajni Athavale. Famous Bollywood actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani was the chief guest, who encouraged the students and revealed that he is an alumnus of H.R. College. The event featured a live musical show, “Journey of Sindhis,” by renowned Sindhi artist Mohit Shewani, mesmerizing the audience. Notable guests included Mr. Mahesh Sukhramani, former Chairman of Maharashtra State Sindhi Sahitya Akademi, Dr. Ram Jawharani, Dr. Baldev Matlani, Mrs. Asha Chand and Sindhi artist Mr. Deven Hajari.
