Mumbai, 11 September 2026: What if remembering Geography maps could be as simple as creating a song? Around 300 SSC Board students from Purushottam High School, Bandra, explored this creative approach and several other examination-oriented techniques during a workshop organised by Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a leading publishing house and educational resource provider trusted by parents, teachers and students.
The session was led by Dr. Ravi Dharma, Geography educator and former SSC Board moderator, who demonstrated creative ways to remember the maps of Brazil and India for the SSC Board examination. Drawing from his extensive teaching experience and understanding of the examination pattern, he showed students how creating a simple song around important map details can make revision more engaging and help them recall information more easily during examinations.
The workshop also focused on practical aspects of board preparation, including answer structuring, effective use of examination time and approaches to handling questions with greater clarity. The session concluded with an interactive quiz competition, where students who answered correctly were gifted important study resource material to support their preparation for the SSC Board examination.
Dr. Ravi Dharma, Geography educator and former SSC Board moderator, said, “Doing well in the SSC examination is not only about knowing the subject; it is also about presenting what you know effectively. I wanted students to understand how to structure their answers, manage the limited time available and stay composed during the examination. The practical techniques shared during the session were aimed at giving them a clearer approach to preparation and helping them feel better prepared for the examination.”
Dilip Gangaramani, Founder Director & CEO, Target Learning Ventures said, “Education has the power to transform lives, and at Target Learning Ventures, our journey has always been about making learning more meaningful, accessible and impactful for students. Over the years, we have evolved with the changing needs of learners, but our purpose remains the same to support students not only with knowledge, but also with the confidence and skills to move forward. Initiatives like these workshops are a reflection of that belief, taking learning beyond textbooks and creating experiences that can make a lasting difference in a student’s journey.”
