Prestigious National Conference ROOTS IX Successfully Concludes at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune

Pune, July 09: ROOTS IX, one of the significant academic gatherings in dermatology, successfully concluded at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune. The annual conference was held on therapeutics in dermatology, from June 26 to 28, 2026. The three-day conference brought together dermatologists, academicians, clinicians, researchers and postgraduate students to discuss recent developments, emerging therapies and current practices in clinical, aesthetic and procedural dermatology.


Held under the theme, “Precision Therapeutics in Dermatology – Right Drug, Right Procedure, Right Laser,” the conference featured scientific sessions, including scientific lectures, panel discussions, award paper presentations and free paper sessions. The programme covered a wide range of subjects, including acne, psoriasis, vitiligo, pigmentation disorders, androgenetic alopecia, pediatric dermatology, autoimmune skin disorders, dermatophytosis, immunobullous disorders, lasers, chemical peels and trichology. The conference was attended by delegates, while faculty members shared their expertise and clinical insights during the scientific sessions.
