Singapore / India, Jan 15: Jungle Ventures today announced the elevation of two senior leaders, Arpit Beri and Rishab Malik, to the role of Managing Partner, further strengthening the firm’s leadership across India and Southeast Asia.
Since 2015, Jungle Ventures has steadily built one of the region’s most high-conviction investment franchises—backing resilient founders, seasoned operators, and next-generation category creators solving large and complex problems. The firm’s portfolio reflects Jungle Ventures’ strategy of backing high-calibre, second-time founders and experienced industry operators who bring deep domain expertise and executional maturity, helping them scale with the discipline and ambition needed to build enduring companies.
From early investments in Livspace and Moglix to leading venture-growth rounds in companies such as Paysense (acquired by PayU), Jungle has consistently demonstrated its “build-to-last” philosophy and long-term partnership mindset. Over the past five years, Arpit, who has driven Jungle’s venture-growth investments, and Rishab, who leads its pre-seed and seed efforts, have been instrumental in expanding the firm’s footprint and elevating the Jungle brand across the region. Their investment judgment, founder empathy, and operational discipline have helped shape Jungle into one of the most trusted early and growth-stage partners in the Indian startup ecosystem.
Today, Jungle’s India portfolio spans 30+ companies with an enterprise value of USD 8.5 Billion, featuring category leaders such as Atomberg, Turtlemint, Leap, Infinity Fincorp, CityMall, BetterPlace, Sanlayan, Esc Plan, Distill, Pratilipi, Moglix, Livspace and Waterfield Advisors, alongside several rising champions across sectors. Globally, Jungle’s portfolio features category-defining companies including Kredivo, Sociolla, Dat Bike, Yay Group, and Brick, among others, bringing its total cumulative enterprise value to more than USD 15 billion.
Jungle Ventures also announced two new Principal promotions: Karissa Adelaide from the Southeast Asia investment team and Vishesh Sharma from the India team. Both have demonstrated the insight, ownership, and grit that define the next generation of leaders at Jungle.
“Arpit, Rishab, Karissa and Vishesh represent the very best of Jungle’s homegrown leadership,” said Amit Anand, Founding Partner, Jungle Ventures. “Their commitment to founders, their investment judgment, and their ability to back and support high-calibre, second-time entrepreneurs and senior operators perfectly embody Jungle’s DNA. We’re incredibly proud of their growth and excited for what lies ahead. At Jungle, we’re just getting started.”
