New professional mixing consoles unveiled with live demonstration and hands-on training for audio professionals
Kolkata, Oct 06 Saitronics, a leading distributor of premium sound systems, in association with HARMAN Professional Solutions, has introduced the new Soundcraft Signature Plus Series of analogue connected mixing consoles in Kolkata. The launch event, held on October 3 at Raajkutir by Taj Hotels, brought together leading audio professionals, sound engineers, musicians, system integrators and industry stakeholders for a live product demonstration and hands-on training session.
Building on Soundcraft’s legacy of more than five decades in professional mixing technology, the new Signature Plus Series combines the familiar character and tactile control of analogue mixing with features designed for today’s live sound, studio, content creation and hybrid production environments.
The series is available in four configurations — Signature Plus 12, Signature Plus 16, Signature Plus 22 and Signature Plus 32 — offering 12, 16, 22 and 32 input channels respectively.
Designed for intuitive and precise operation, the consoles feature colour-coded controls and a user-friendly layout. At the core of the Signature Plus platform are Soundcraft Ghost microphone preamps, Sapphyre EQ and built-in dbx OverEasy one-knob compressors, giving audio professionals greater control over sound shaping and dynamics.
Another key feature is the built-in Lexicon hardware effects processor, which provides additional creative flexibility through features such as preset Store and Tap Tempo. The consoles also include professional workflow tools such as SSM (Simple Success Metering), a dedicated Listen bus, Talkback To routing, four Aux sends and Mix-to-Aux functionality.
With audio production increasingly moving towards hybrid workflows, the Signature Plus Series also incorporates a 4×4 USB-C audio interface supporting up to 192kHz, allowing users to connect laptops and mobile devices for playback and recording. Flexible headphone and control-room monitoring options further enhance the consoles’ versatility across different production environments.
