Bengaluru, Sep 23: The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an implementation partner of the Government of India’s PM POSHAN programme in partnership with various state governments and union territory administrations, has been honoured with the ‘Data for Good’ award at Snowflake World Tour Bengaluru 2026. The recognition comes for the Foundation’s data engineering team for it’s central role in building this platform for meaningful social impact placing it’s work alongside some of the country’s leading adopters of enterprise data and AI.
Over the past three years, the foundation has built a unified enterprise data platform that creates a trusted foundation for decision-making. By integrating data across functions, standardising key metrics and strengthening governance, the platform enables timely insights, greater transparency and improved operational effectiveness.
