New toolkit brings option-chain analytics, strategy building, payoff visualisation, Greeks, scenario analysis and basket execution into a single workflow.

New Delhi, Sept 02: Shoonya, the digital trading platform of Finvasia, today announced the launch of FnO Edge, an advanced options trading toolkit that brings market analysis, strategy building, risk assessment and execution together on a single platform.

FnO Edge is being integrated on Shoonya Pro and is available for free to all Shoonya users. Powered by ClickTrade, it is designed for manual trading and does not involve algorithmic or automated trading.

FnO Edge follows a five-step workflow: Analyse, Build, Evaluate, Simulate and Execute, taking traders from reading the option chain and constructing a strategy to assessing its potential outcomes, testing different scenarios and placing the trade. The toolkit brings these stages together so traders can evaluate an options strategy without having to switch between multiple tools.

“In options trading, the decision matters as much as the execution. Traders need to understand not just the opportunity, but the risk, the strategy and how a position may behave as markets move. FnO Edge brings that perspective together, helping traders approach every trade with greater clarity,” said Sarvjeet Singh Virk, Co-founder & MD, Shoonya by Finvasia.

The process starts with an advanced option chain that provides real-time data along with implied volatility (IV), volume, filtering and strike comparison. Traders can use these inputs to compare contracts and identify relevant strikes before moving on to strategy construction.

FnO Edge supports both custom multi-leg strategies and pre-built templates. Traders can add calls and puts, adjust strike prices, expiry dates and quantities, and see strategy metrics update as they modify their positions. The template library includes Bull Call Spreads, Bear Put Spreads, Long Straddles, Long Strangles, Iron Condors, Butterflies, Calendar Spreads and Ratio Spreads.

Once a strategy is built, traders can assess its potential outcomes through an interactive payoff graph, which maps potential profit and loss across different underlying price levels and highlights breakeven points and maximum profit and loss zones. This gives traders a consolidated view of the potential outcomes and risks associated with a strategy before committing capital.

The toolkit also brings Options Greeks such as Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and Rho into the analysis, helping traders understand how changes in the underlying asset, time, volatility and interest rates could affect a position. Traders can then test the strategy under different conditions using FnO Edge’s scenario analysis tool. The tool allows them to assess the impact of changes in the underlying price, implied volatility and time to expiry before deciding whether to proceed.

Once a strategy is finalised, its individual legs can be added to a basket and executed in a single step. Traders can review the combined premium, quantities and risk metrics before placing the order, connecting strategy construction and execution within the same workflow.

“Our objective with FnO Edge is to make advanced options analytics more accessible without putting another layer between traders and their decision-making. By making the toolkit available to every Shoonya user at no additional cost, we want to give them the ability to analyse and structure their trades with greater clarity before execution,” Sarvjeet Singh Virk, Co-founder & MD, Shoonya by Finvasia

FnO Edge is aimed at giving options traders a more complete view of a trade before they commit capital, bringing market analysis, strategy construction, risk assessment and execution into a single workflow. By making the toolkit available to all Shoonya users at no additional cost, the platform is also positioning advanced options analytics as a standard part of the trading experience rather than a separate tool.
