New Delhi, Aug 19: Smartphone users are increasingly looking beyond conventional specifications and paying greater attention to the quality of everyday experiences. Reflecting this shift, realme is positioning its upcoming P4s 5G around a display-led experience, with a focus on smoother visuals, entertainment and gaming.

The smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on August 26 at noon, with the company confirming several key specifications ahead of the launch. The device will feature a 1.5K Samsung display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while pricing is expected to be announced at launch.

The display is among the key highlights of the new smartphone. A higher refresh rate can make scrolling, animations and supported gaming content appear smoother, while the 1.5K resolution is aimed at providing sharper visuals for videos, photographs and everyday use.

The P4s 5G is also expected to support HDR10+ and Netflix HDR content, giving users a more immersive viewing experience on compatible content.

Beyond the screen, realme is combining the display with performance-focused hardware. The smartphone is confirmed to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset and a dedicated cooling system designed to help maintain performance during demanding tasks such as gaming.

Battery life is another major focus. The P4s 5G will carry an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, positioning the device for consumers who spend extended periods gaming, streaming content, working or browsing on their phones.

The product reflects a wider change in India’s smartphone market, where consumers are increasingly evaluating phones on how comfortably and effectively they fit into daily life rather than simply comparing individual specifications.

For younger users in particular, the smartphone has become a device for entertainment, communication, education, work and gaming. This has increased demand for displays that are smooth and responsive, alongside dependable battery life and sustained performance.

With the P4s 5G, realme appears to be placing this broader user experience at the centre of its product strategy. The company is seeking to combine a high-refresh-rate display with strong battery capacity and 5G performance in a device aimed at India’s increasingly experience-conscious smartphone buyers.

The upcoming launch will provide greater clarity on the phone’s pricing, availability and complete specifications. For now, the combination of a 144Hz display, Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and 8,000mAh battery makes the P4s 5G a notable addition to realme’s growing P-series portfolio.
