Building an Inclusive AI Literacy Ecosystem
Under its AI Literacy Mission, AISECT India has developed a scalable AI learning ecosystem that combines mobile education, strategic partnerships, and technology-enabled skilling to make Artificial Intelligence accessible to learners across the country. As part of this long-term vision, AISECT India‘s AI Literacy Mission aims to create AI literacy and awareness among 1 crore people across India by 2030, contributing to the country’s vision of building an inclusive, future-ready digital workforce. As part of this mission, the organisation has launched five AI Kaushal Rath mobile learning units, taking AI education directly to schools, colleges, and communities through immersive and practical learning experiences.
The AI Kaushal Rath initiative is complemented by a broad portfolio of partnerships that extend the reach of AI education across diverse learner groups. Through the UNICEF Passport to Earning Programme, AISECT India has equipped 1,25,000 young people with Artificial Intelligence, digital productivity, and employability skills. The YUVA – AI for All initiative has introduced 48,000 students to foundational AI concepts, while the HAL Kaushal Rath, implemented in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited , has benefited 1,806 beneficiaries. In partnership with IndusInd Bank, the Skills on Wheels Programme has empowered 5,606 learners through technology-enabled mobile skilling initiatives.
Collectively, these initiatives have enabled AISECT India to empower more than 1,80,637 beneficiaries across India, demonstrating how innovation, mobility, and cross-sector collaboration can bridge the digital divide and make AI education accessible at scale. The AI Literacy Excellence Award recognises this integrated approach, which combines community outreach, technology, industry partnerships, and inclusive learning to prepare India‘s youth for the opportunities of an AI-driven economy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President (EVP), AISECT India, said:
