AI Ready School Partners with Adv. Bapusaheb Bhonde High School for 4-Day AI Pilot Program, Boosts Student Performance by 31%

The pilot was conducted at a time when educational institutions are increasingly exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning. As AI continues to reshape industries and workforce requirements, many schools are seeking clarity on curriculum integration, teacher preparedness, student readiness and the responsible use of emerging technologies. To address these challenges, AI Ready School has developed an AI Ecosystem for Schools that embeds AI across learning, creativity, productivity and decision-making. The pilot enabled the school to experience AI in action and evaluate practical pathways for adoption.

The four-day pilot programme comprised interactive workshops, demonstrations and practical activities designed to familiarise participants with AI readiness frameworks, future skills development, AI-powered learning and productivity tools, responsible and ethical AI practices, practical classroom applications, real-world problem-solving and a structured roadmap for meaningful AI adoption in schools. The programme engaged Grade 8 students and teachers through an AI-enabled Science module on ‘Reflection of Light & Its Applications’, enabling participants to experience AI-powered teaching and learning in a structured classroom environment.

The four-day pilot also delivered encouraging learning outcomes. Participants recorded an average 31 per cent improvement in performance between baseline and final assessments, with 43 out of 46 students demonstrating measurable learning gains. In addition, participants developed two functional AI applications within four hours, highlighting AI’s potential to strengthen conceptual understanding, creativity and problem-solving while fostering innovation in the classroom.

Commenting on the successful completion of the pilot, Mr. Chiranjeevi Maddala, Co-founder & CEO, AI Ready School, said,

“The outcomes of this pilot reinforce our belief that AI can meaningfully enhance classroom learning when introduced through a structured and pedagogically sound approach. The measurable improvements in student performance and the ability of participants to build functional AI applications within a short span demonstrate that AI can move beyond theory and become an effective tool for deeper learning, creativity and problem-solving. Our collaboration with Adv. Bapusaheb Bhonde High School has shown how schools can adopt AI responsibly while preparing students and educators for the future.”

Adv. Bapusaheb Bhonde High School, an unaided trust-run institution in Lonavala, has consistently embraced innovation in education. Ahead of the pilot, the school’s teachers participated in a dedicated AI orientation programme, reflecting the institution’s proactive approach to integrating emerging technologies into teaching and learning. Supported by robust digital infrastructure and a leadership committed to educational innovation, the school provided a strong foundation for evaluating AI-enabled learning in a structured classroom environment.

Sharing the school’s experience, Mr. Jagadish K. Math, Governing Member, Adv. Bapusaheb Bhonde High School, said,

“The pilot provided our students, teachers and leadership team with valuable first-hand exposure to the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in education. It enabled us to better understand how AI can be integrated responsibly into classroom teaching while encouraging greater collaboration, critical thinking and innovation among students. Our partnership with AI Ready School has been an important step towards building a future-ready learning environment, and the insights gained through this programme will help shape our approach to technology-enabled education.”

The successful completion of the pilot marks another step in AI Ready School’s efforts to help schools adopt Artificial Intelligence through structured, classroom-ready frameworks. By combining teacher capacity building with practical classroom applications, the initiative demonstrates how AI can support stronger learning outcomes while preparing students with the skills required for an increasingly AI-driven future.
