Washington, D.C.,Apr22(BNP): Public support for U.S. President Donald Trump is witnessing a significant decline, with his approval ratings dropping to the lowest level of his second term, according to a recent survey.

As per the survey, only 37% of respondents approve of President Trump’s performance, while 63% disapprove, including nearly 50% expressing strong disapproval. The findings point to a widening gap in public confidence regarding the administration’s policies and leadership.

The report also highlights a broader sense of pessimism among citizens, with nearly two-thirds of Americans believing the country is heading in the wrong direction since the President assumed office for his second term last year.

Political analysts suggest that the declining approval ratings could pose challenges for Republicans as they prepare for upcoming midterm elections, with voter sentiment likely to play a crucial role in shaping the electoral landscape.
