New Delhi , June 5 : In a landmark initiative to mark World Environment Day, PNB Housing Finance rolled out its first-ever nationwide employee volunteering drive, uniting more than 800 employees across a targeted network of 12 offices, including their corporate office. The programme was implemented in collaboration with community partners like Give Me Trees Trust, Catch Foundation and Communitree.

Employees enthusiastically participated in activities such as tree plantation, bird nest-making, notebook upcycling, and community clean-up drives:
- Initiated plantation of 1 lakh trees in Delhi NCR belt
- Over 200 saplings planted across locations to promote environmental sustainability
- More than 125 kgs of waste collected and cleaned from community areas
- 360+ notebooks created using recycled paper, to be donated to underprivileged children from nearby schools
- 75 safe, eco-friendly nests created and installed to support birds
The initiative reflects PNB Housing Finance’s commitment to responsible corporate citizenship and its belief in the power of collective action. By engaging thousands of employees in meaningful environmental and community-focused activities, the company strengthened a culture rooted in purpose, responsibility, and sustainability.
