A significant step in this journey was the transition from diesel to Piped Natural Gas for boiler operations used in laundry steam generation. Introduced in March 2023, the initiative has reduced daily carbon dioxide emissions in an estimated annual reduction of around 98 tones. The change has also eliminated sulphur dioxide emissions generated through diesel-based operations. The hotel has further strengthened its sustainability efforts through the adoption of solar energy. Since early 2025, solar power has contributed approximately 33 to 44 per cent of the property’s monthly electricity requirements, leading to an estimated annual reduction of 1,476 to 1,968 tones of carbon dioxide emissions.

Environmental responsibility extends to the guest journey as well. Complimentary electric vehicle charging stations encourage cleaner mobility, while the elimination of single-use plastic across the property supports the hotel’s commitment to reducing waste and promoting more sustainable practices.
