Today, 12th June, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for a fourth term in Vijayawada. Naidu took the oath at a ceremony held at Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram airport. The event saw the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top BJP leaders.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh were also sworn in as ministers in the new TDP government. Naidu has allocated three cabinet positions to the Jana Sena Party, including the Deputy Chief Minister’s post for Pawan Kalyan. The newly formed cabinet consists of 24 ministers, with 17 newcomers. It includes three women, eight leaders from the Backward Classes, two from the Scheduled Castes, one from the Scheduled Tribes, and one Muslim.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present at the oath-taking ceremony, lending his support and highlighting the significance of the event.
