May 12: Juicy Chemistry, India’s first COSMOS/Ecocert-certified organic skincare brand, has partnered with Two Brothers Organic Farms, one of India’s most celebrated farm-to-table organic brands, to launch a first-of-its-kind skincare collaboration powered by Lakadong Turmeric Ghee.
The collaboration brings together two certified ecosystems one that grows with integrity and one that formulates with it through the introduction of a Cold Process Soap Bar and a Rose & Lakadong Turmeric Ghee Lip Balm, both made using Two Brothers’ bilona-crafted A2 ghee infused with GI-tagged Lakadong turmeric.
Grown exclusively in the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, Lakadong turmeric is known for its exceptionally high curcumin content: 10–12%, compared to 3–4% in standard varieties making it significantly more potent in its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and skin-brightening properties. In this formulation, bilona ghee acts as a natural carrier, enhancing curcumin bioavailability and allowing deeper absorption into the skin.
The lip balm pairs this with Bulgarian Damask rose oil, used not as fragrance but as an active. Known for its ability to support skin barrier repair and deliver lasting hydration, rose works in tandem with Lakadong curcumin to address both pigmentation and dryness at the lip line. The combination draws from one of the oldest pairings in Ayurvedic skincare, now reinterpreted in a certified organic format.
