Bhubaneshwar, Aug 8:  Reinforcing Odisha’s position as a preferred destination for manufacturing and industrial investments, the Government of Odisha signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages for the company’s manufacturing facility at Khordha.

The MoU was exchanged between Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Chief Minister of Odisha, and representatives of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, including Mr. Harsh Bhutani, Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Himanshu Priyadarshi, Chief Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Officer. during Odisha FoodPro 2026, organised by the Government of Odisha in association with the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha.

The exchange took place in the presence of Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister of State , Industries, Government of Odisha; Mr. Hemant Sharma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Odisha; Mr. D. Prashanth Kumar Reddy, IAS, Managing Director, IDCO and Ms. Aboli Sunil Naravane, IAS, Director of Industries and Managing Director, IPICOL.

The investment marks another significant milestone in Odisha’s efforts to attract large-scale manufacturing investments and strengthen the state’s food processing and beverage ecosystem. The proposed expansion of HCCB’s manufacturing facility in Khordha is expected to support industrial development and contribute to the state’s long-term economic growth.Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages has maintained a strong presence in Odisha through its manufacturing operations at Khordha. The proposed expansion will further strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint in the state while supporting increasing consumer demand and contributing to Odisha’s vision of becoming a leading destination for manufacturing and industrial investment.
