Gujarat, Apr 16: In a compelling example of India’s rising stature in global healthcare, an Italian patient residing in Indonesia has successfully undergone advanced orthopaedic surgery in Vadodara, underscoring the growing appeal of Tier-2 Indian cities in medical tourism.
After months of debilitating pain affecting his mobility and quality of life, the patient explored treatment options across multiple countries, including Singapore, Australia, Thailand, and Europe. However, high costs and impersonal consultation pathways proved to be significant barriers.
His search eventually led him to India, specifically to Welcare Hospital in Vadodara. Within 24 hours of arrival, the patient underwent a comprehensive evaluation, including an MRI, CT scan, and X-rays.
