ORLANDO, Fla., August 18 — FreeCast, Inc. (Nasdaq: CAST), a streaming media technology company providing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), content aggregation, advertising and digital distribution solutions, today announced that it has acquired full control of Investor News Channel, including InvestorNewsChannel.com, and plans to relaunch the former global video-on-demand financial news service as a next-generation, 24/7 global Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) network.
The newly envisioned Investor News Channel (INC) is targeted to launch November 2026, transforming the existing financial media property into a broader global destination for investors, entrepreneurs, executives and business-minded audiences.
Rather than attempting to replicate traditional minute-by-minute financial television, the Investor News Channel is being designed around the stories behind the companies, CEO and founder interviews, corporate documentaries, public company profiles, analyst and investment commentary, business and legal programming, entrepreneurship, emerging technologies, economic trends, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, investor education and global business opportunities.
A New Syndication Model for Financial Television
Central to the strategy is FreeCast’s plan to open the Investor News Channel to established financial content providers, business programmers, investor-relations media organizations, analysts, publishers, documentary producers and qualified independent creators.
Instead of requiring every financial media organization to build and operate its own FAST channel, FreeCast intends to provide a common global television destination where participating programmers can contribute qualified content, extend the useful life and reach of their existing video libraries, build their brands, and participate in advertising revenue generated through the channel.
The Company plans to share revenue with content creators and organizations that contribute content and stories, including the full range of recognized financial-services, investment-media and business-information sources. Qualifying programmers may retain ownership of their content while participating in advertising revenue attributable to programming, subject to individual content agreements and programming arrangements.
“There is an extraordinary amount of high-quality financial and business programming being created every day, but much of it lives in fragmented destinations,” said William A. Mobley, CEO and Founder of FreeCast. “The Investor News Channel gives us the opportunity to aggregate that content into a true 24/7 global television experience. We want to give the people creating great financial and business content another audience, another distribution platform and, importantly, another opportunity to monetize what they have already created.”
From Stock News to the Stories Behind the Stocks
The revamped network is intended to move beyond the traditional financial-news format by incorporating longer-form and evergreen programming capable of attracting viewers beyond the trading day.
The result is intended to be a channel where viewers can discover not only what happened to a company or industry, but who is building it, how the business works, what is changing, and why it may matter.
Artificial intelligence, telecommunications, space and satellite communications, energy, healthcare, financial technology, manufacturing, defense, media, infrastructure, real estate, consumer innovation and other emerging sectors are expected to become significant programming categories.
This also represents an opportunity for FreeCast to expand its high-value leads-based advertising beyond local markets, by allowing specialized financial service providers to reach target individuals one-to-one with offers for high-ticket products and services.
Turning Existing Business Content Into Television
FreeCast believes the Investor News Channel can create an additional distribution and monetization opportunity for a broad ecosystem of financial content creators.
CEO interviews that previously appeared once can become part of scheduled television programming. Investor conferences can reach audiences beyond conference attendees. Business podcasts can become television shows. Corporate documentaries can gain recurring exposure. Analyst commentary and investor education can reach connected-TV audiences alongside traditional digital viewers.
FreeCast expects this collaborative model to help build a deep and continuously refreshed programming library without the massive spending typically associated with content production, while allowing content partners to benefit from additional distribution without having to independently build, operate and monetize a global FAST network.
Powered by FreeCast
The Investor News Channel will leverage FreeCast’s existing streaming infrastructure, content-management capabilities, FAST-channel technologies, advertising systems and multi-device distribution ecosystem.
The relaunch also provides FreeCast with another application for its broader media monetization strategy: combining content, audience, advertising and commerce within streaming environments rather than treating streaming television solely as a video-delivery business.
“The future of business television shouldn’t be limited to a handful of networks deciding which companies and stories deserve airtime,” Mobley added. “There are thousands of CEOs, entrepreneurs, analysts, innovators and financial storytellers with extraordinary stories. We intend for the Investor News Channel to give those voices a global television platform.”
November 2026 Target Launch
FreeCast is targeting November 2026 for the launch of the reimagined Investor News Channel.
Ahead of launch, the Company expects to announce additional programming, content relationships, distribution availability and participating financial and business media organizations as arrangements are finalized.
The network’s programming philosophy can be summarized simply:
Great business stories deserve global distribution.
Great content deserves additional monetization.
And investors deserve a place to discover both.
