Mumbai, 6th May: At the Sri City foundation event, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted that the future belongs to ecosystems and cluster-based development. He stressed that Andhra Pradesh is committed to building both vertical and horizontal integration to drive industrial growth.

Explaining vertical integration, he noted that it involves all stakeholders contributing to the end product—from gas and components to full-scale manufacturing. At the same time, he emphasized that horizontal integration is equally critical, particularly in human resource development, with a focus on skilling, testing, and certification.

He also announced the launch of ‘Naipunyam’, a Conversational AI-powered skill assessment platform, set to be launched by the end of May, aimed at making youth job-ready and inviting industry collaboration.

Highlighting cluster-based growth, he said the state is developing 22 industrial clusters across sectors, including AC Cluster, Glass Cluster, Space City, Renewable Energy Cluster, and Data Center Cluster, along with others like compressed biogas, medical devices, pharma, and steel. He concluded by urging partners to be part of Andhra Pradesh’s growth story, stating that tightly integrated clusters will be key to manufacturing success.
