Sep 18: Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation, as part of Federal Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, has entered into a MOU with Lisie Cancer Centre, Ernakulam, under its flagship ‘Sanjeevani – United Against Cancer’ initiative to enhance support for cancer patients and their families.
As part of the partnership, the Foundation will contribute ₹1 crore to the Beneficiary Support Fund of Lisie Cancer Centre, reinforcing efforts to provide timely and affordable cancer care. The MoU was exchanged by Mr. Sasidharan C M, Senior Vice President & Ernakulam Zonal Head of Federal Bank and Rev. Fr. Paul Karedan, Managing Director, Lisie Cancer Centre.
The event was attended by Shaji K V, Vice President & Head – Corporate Social Responsibility, Federal Bank, Rani S, Deputy Vice President-II & Regional Business Head (CIB), Malini Gopal S, Deputy Vice President-II & Branch Head, Ernakulam North and other senior officials from the Bank.
Representing Lisie Cancer Centre were Rev. Fr. Rojan Nangelimalil, Executive Director, LMC, Rev. Fr. Reju Kannampuzha, Executive Director, LCC, Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese Ambalathingal, Joint Director, Mr.Antony Puthusssery, Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Jaisankar P, Consultant, Medical Oncology.
Since its inception, the Sanjeevani initiative has facilitated 13,645 cancer screenings and extended support to 33,014 beneficiaries through awareness programmes, early detection, diagnosis, treatment assistance, and patient care interventions.
