Visakhapatnam, May 6: Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and The Bheemili Resort, part of the Accor portfolio, celebrated the arrival of mango season with immersive Avakaya Mixing Ceremonies held over the weekend of May 2 and 3.

At The Bheemili Resort, the ceremony unfolded in a serene coastal setting, where guests engaged in the traditional preparation process. Guided by culinary experts, participants mixed freshly cut raw mangoes with aromatic spices and gingelly oil, gaining insight into the craftsmanship behind the beloved delicacy. The experience was complemented by a curated selection of regional dishes and seasonal beverages.

The celebration continued at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, where guests gathered for a vibrant and interactive evening by the seaside. The event emphasized togetherness, as participants shared stories and traditions linked to Avakaya preparation while enjoying summer-inspired welcome drinks and a spread of Andhra specialities.
