Aug 11: Arohan Financial Services Limited has emerged as one of the implementers of the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, with 846 employees receiving the first incentive instalment of upto INR7,500 each under the Employment Linked IncentiveScheme.
The first instalment has credited directly by the Central Government to eligible Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation-registered first-time employees through Direct Benefit Transfer after they completed six months of continuous service between August 2025 and January 2026, in accordance with the ELI Scheme.
Approved by the Government of India in July 2025, PMVBRY is a flagship employment-linked incentive programme designed to accelerate formal job creation, strengthen social security coverage and enhance employability across the country. Backed by a financial outlay of ₹99,446 crore, the ELI Scheme aims to generate more than 3.5 crore formal employment opportunities between August 2025 and July 2027, supporting the Government’s vision of Viksit Bharat@2047
Under the ELI Scheme, first-time EPFO subscribers earning up to ₹1 lakh per month are eligible to receive incentives of up to ₹15,000, disbursed in two instalments: firstly, upon completing six months and secondly, upon completion of one year of continuous employment. The ELI Scheme also incentivises employers by providing up to ₹3,000 per additional employee per month for up to two years, provided the employee remains in sustained employment for at least six months, encouraging sustained formal employment generation.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Manoj Nambiar, Managing Director, Arohan Financial Services Limited, said:
“The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana is a landmark initiative that encourages formal employment while providing meaningful financial support to first-time employees. We are proud to be among the organisations to successfully implement the scheme, enabling 846 of our employees to receive their first incentive. We believe that such initiatives not only strengthen social security and improve workforce participation but also contribute significantly to India’s long-term economic growth and inclusive development.”
He further added
“At Arohan, we remain committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities while ensuring our employees benefit from progressive government initiatives. The successful implementation of PMVBRY reflects our focus on fostering an inclusive, compliant and future-ready workplace.”
The ELI Scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Labour & Employment through the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. Both employers and employees must be registered with the EPFO to avail of the benefits. The Government has also introduced comprehensive operational guidelines and digital tracking through the PMVBRY portal, enabling seamless implementation and monitoring.
