Kozhikode, May 25: Aster MIMS Kozhikode, a super-specialty hospital in Kerala, became the first hospital in India to successfully complete 3,000 thyroid pinhole procedures. The pinhole procedure is a state-of-the-art, minimally invasive medical technique where thyroid nodules or tumors are ablated using a specialized needle, eliminating the need for major open surgeries, long hospital stays, or unsightly scars on the neck.
