Udaipur, 31st August 2026: Paras Health Udaipur has launched cardiac surgery services at the hospital, further strengthening access to advanced heart care for patients in Udaipur and surrounding regions. Under the leadership of Dr. Santosh Gupta, Heart Surgery Specialist, Paras Health Udaipur, the hospital has recently performed eight cardiac surgeries, including procedures for patients with complex coronary artery blockages.
Among the recent cardiac surgeries were cases involving 70-year-old Ram Chandra, who had blockages in two major coronary arteries, and 67-year-old Dalpat Singh, who was diagnosed with blockages in all three major coronary arteries. Both patients had been experiencing breathing difficulties and had significantly reduced ejection fraction (EF) due to long-standing cardiac conditions. Following successful surgery, both patients recovered well and were discharged on the fourth day after surgery.
Patients from Udaipur and nearby areas will now have access to advanced cardiac surgical care closer to home, reducing the need to travel to cities such as Ahmedabad for complex heart procedures.
