
Kolkata, May 07: Aakash Aath will celebrate Mother’s Day with a special episode of its popular culinary show Radhuni, which will air on Sunday, 10th May, 2026 at 1:30 pm. Known for showcasing traditional recipes and heartfelt stories, the show will dedicate this episode to honouring the love, warmth and memories associated with mothers and their home-cooked meals.
Hosted by Bulbuli Panja, the episode will feature special guest Gita Routh, who will join her to recreate a nostalgic dish while sharing sweet and emotional memories making the episode even more personal and heartfelt. Eminent actress, Sudipta Banerjee is also an integral part of this show.
This Mother’s Day special episode will aim to connect audiences with the comforting bond between food and family, highlighting how recipes passed down through Mothers across generations carry love and tradition. With its heartfelt theme and relatable storytelling, the episode will stand out as a touching tribute to mothers on Aakash Aath.

Launched in 2008, Radhuni has successfully aired over 5,000 episodes to date. The show earned the prestigious recognition of being the Longest Running Cookery Show on Bengali Television by Women’s Times Magazine in 2021. Directed by Ms Pompi Mukherjee, this matinee program continues to present simple, homely recipes that celebrate Bengal’s culinary diversity while inspiring viewers to explore their passion for cooking.
Over the years, Radhuni has seen several popular names from the entertainment industry hosting this show including Mallika Majumdar, Soumili Biswas, RJ Manali, Roopsha Chakraborty and many others. The show has also featured numerous special guests and festive episodes highlighting Bengal’s traditional delicacies.
Aakash Aath telecasts Radhuni every Monday to Sunday at 1:30 pm.
