Noida , May 27 : IMS Design and Innovation Academy organized an engaging design workshop at its campus in Sector-62, Noida, introducing students to the creative and practical world of design education. A total of 76 students and teachers from Aicher School, Krishna Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School, and Sant Sujan Singh School participated in the workshop.

Addressing the students during the program, Mr. Chirag Gupta, Vice President of IMS Noida, said that design today is no longer limited to art alone, but has emerged as an important medium for innovation, industry, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that design education helps students enhance their creative abilities while encouraging them to find solutions to real-world challenges. He further stated that the institution aims to familiarize students with industry requirements, emerging technologies, and evolving career opportunities, inspiring them to channel their imagination and creativity in a positive direction.

Dean of IMS-DIA, Prof. Dr. MKV Nair, informed that the workshop included activities related to design thinking, sketching, material exploration, spatial creativity, storytelling, and product aesthetics. He added that such workshops not only nurture students’ creative thinking but also provide them with exposure to future career opportunities in the field of design.

The workshop focused on diverse disciplines including fashion design, communication design, interior design, jewellery design, and luxury product design, offering students a hands-on learning experience and deeper insight into the dynamic design industry.
