Noida, June 08: Students participating in the Summer School Workshop organized at IMS Noida, Sector-62, received hands-on, skill-based training across a range of emerging technologies and career-oriented disciplines. The workshop aims to help students explore future career opportunities while enhancing their professional competencies and overall personality development.
Addressing the participants, Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Sharma, Advisor, IMS Noida, said that the Summer School serves as an important platform for students to learn, innovate, and develop industry-relevant skills. He emphasized that in today’s competitive environment, theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient; practical exposure and an understanding of industry requirements are equally important. With this objective, the Summer School offers students opportunities to engage in live projects, industry interactions, corporate mentorship, campus immersion, and various skill-development activities.
Dr. Vartika Chaturvedi, Dean (CRC & Management) and Coordinator of the programme, informed that the IT module of the Summer School includes training in Generative AI, Ethical Hacking, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Web Development. During the sessions, students were introduced to the applications of Generative AI, content creation, prompt engineering, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. The Ethical Hacking module focused on cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, identification of digital threats, and data protection practices.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, Co-Coordinator of the programme, stated that students gained practical exposure to sensor-based projects, smart devices, and automated systems. In addition, the Web Development sessions covered website design, front-end development, user interface design, and modern web technologies. Students actively participated in projects and hands-on activities, demonstrating creativity, innovation, and technical understanding throughout the workshop.
