July 3 : Amity University hosted a high-level delegation from Japan External Trade Organization , led by Mr. Norihiko Ishiguro, Chairman and CEO, JETRO and Ms. Akiko Okumura, Executive Vice President, JETRO. The delegation comprised of Mr. Yuji Ando, Senior Director for Global Strategy , Planning Department, JETRO; Mr. Harunobu Hara, Assistant Director for Global Strategy, Planning Department, JETRO; Mr. Daisaku Yukita, Chief Director General, JETRO India; Mr. Hiroki Kawasaki, Senior Director, JETRO New Delhi; Mr. Takahiro Nakao, Senior Director, JETRO New Delhi; and Ms. Jenica Kalra, Assistant Director, JETRO New Delhi.

Expressing his pleasure on visiting Amity University, Mr. Norihiko Ishiguro, Chairman and CEO, JETRO, averred,

On this occasion, Sainava Modak, a student who participated in the JETRO Talent for Japan Programme, was felicitated in recognition of their outstanding achievement. Sharing his experience, Sainava said,

Presenting and Overview of “India–Japan Synergy: Business, Careers and Culture”, Ms. Jenica Kalra, Assistant Director, JETRO New Delhi, said,

The Delegation took a round of the campus and visited Amity Innovation Incubator, central Library and Research Laboratories of Amity University. The visit concluded with meaningful discussions on expanding collaboration in research, innovation, industry-academia collaborations, skill development and talent exchange, reaffirming the shared commitment of Amity University and JETRO towards building a future-ready workforce and deepening the strategic ties between India and Japan.
