Jaipur, July 15: JK Lakshmipat University on July 14 marked the commencement of Aarambh 2026, the eight-day orientation programme welcoming incoming design, engineering and management students to an inspiring journey of learning and discovery.

Designed to provide a smooth transition into university life, the programme introduces students to the academic environment, campus culture, and vibrant learning community that define the JKLU experience.

The Chief Guest on the inaugural day of Aarambh, Mr. Prem Singh, President, Group HR at JK Organisation drew attention to the importance of being curious, developing relevant skills, finding mentors and developing friendships and staying grounded in values for building a strong foundation for a successful life and career.

Welcoming the new cohort comprising students from 20 states across India, Dr. Vijaysekhar Chellaboina, Vice-Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University, said,

 “While academic excellence is important, it is equally essential to cultivate critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a lifelong appetite for learning. These qualities will empower you to adapt, innovate, and thrive in a rapidly changing world.”

During the eight-day programme, students will participate in interactive sessions, team-building activities, creative workshops, campus explorations, and conversations designed to inspire self-reflection and personal growth. They will also have opportunities to connect with faculty mentors, interact with senior students, and build lasting friendships, enabling them to better understand their aspirations and confidently embrace the journey ahead.

To make the experience even more engaging, Aarambh 2026 will feature a variety of themed celebrations, including Bollywood Day, Canvas Day, Culture Day, and several other fun-filled activities that encourage creativity, participation, and a strong sense of belonging among the incoming students.

The orientation will also feature inspiring talks by accomplished professionals from diverse fields. The distinguished speaker lineup includes Mr. RamG Vallath, motivational speaker and educationist; Mr. Mukesh Choudhary, a leading cyber operations consultant and information security professional; Ms. Anjali Suneja, POSH Trainer and HR Leader; and Mr. Kunal Agarwal, Craft Product Designer. Several other eminent speakers will interact with students, sharing insights and experiences to motivate them as they embark on their academic journey.
