Navi Mumbai, May 06: The ITM BBA i-Connect program continued its commitment to holistic student development throughout April 2026 by organizing a diverse array of academic, creative, and experiential learning activities. These initiatives were thoughtfully designed to enhance communication skills, industry readiness, creativity, and social awareness among students.

The month commenced with the Global Oratory Club event on 2nd April 2026, where students delivered extempore speeches on a variety of topics, providing them with a platform to strengthen their public speaking and global communication skills. On 6th April, ITM’s Got Talent was organized, showcasing students’ creative abilities and talents. Continuing the emphasis on social awareness, the Mirror Verse: Catalysts Club event on 10th April 2026 offered a platform for artistic expression through poetry and performance. This was followed by Phantom Opera, a skit competition held on 14th April 2026, where students presented performances addressing themes such as ‘Young India’, ‘Women Empowerment’, and Gen Z struggles.

A significant milestone was achieved with the inauguration of the Business Intelligence Current Affairs Lab on 15th April 2026. This initiative enabled students to engage in discussions on current affairs and general knowledge, marking a progressive step towards enhancing practical learning infrastructure. On 16th April 2026, the ‘Influencer of the Day’ Finale concluded with enthusiastic participation, offering students hands-on exposure to digital content creation and personal branding.

The Vision Board Event was revisited on 22nd April 2026 to reinforce goal-setting and self-development practices among students. On 23rd April 2026, the RetailEX presentation provided valuable insights into retail industry dynamics through student-led presentations and analytical discussions.

On 6th April 2026, students also participated in an NGO Orientation session aimed at sensitizing them towards social responsibility and community engagement. This was followed by the NGO Poster Presentation on 8th April 2026, where students creatively expressed their perspectives on various social issues.

Guest Session by CA Navratan Bohra, Vice President, Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers Ltd, was conducted on 4th April 2026. The session provided students with valuable industry insights and practical knowledge on the DPDP Act and Business Analytics, enriching their understanding through expert interaction.

The month concluded with a series of specialization-based workshops. A Digital Marketing workshop titled ‘Beyond Reels & AI: How to Think Like a Marketer in Today’s Attention Economy’ was conducted on 25th April 2026 by Ms. Nikita Dilip Gupta, Assistant Vice President at Tata Capital, exclusively for Digital Marketing students, offering hands-on learning experiences.

On 28th April 2026, ITM Skills University’s BBA Marketing students participated in “Mystery Mall Explorers – Marketing & Technology Immersion” at R City Mall, Mumbai. This five-hour field activity enabled students to act as marketing auditors, analysing real-time branding, consumer behaviour, and retail strategies. Students visited multiple brands, applying concepts such as STP, 4Ps, and consumer behaviour while capturing geo-tagged data for evidence-based insights. The activity emphasized identifying emerging trends like digital integration, experiential retail, and technology-driven customer engagement. It also included comparative brand analysis, customer lifecycle evaluation, and practical exposure to pricing and promotional strategies. This initiative reflects ITM’s strong focus on experiential learning, helping students develop industry-ready skills, analytical thinking, and a deeper understanding of modern marketing practices.

On 30th April 2026, two impactful workshops were conducted for Business Analytics and Finance & Banking students. The session titled ‘End-to-End Data Analytics: From Raw Data to Business Insights’, conducted by Mr. Irfan Sahu, Senior Data Scientist at CitiusTech, equipped students with essential analytical skills. Additionally, the Finance & Banking workshop on ‘Tally for Employability Skills’, conducted by CA Shivani Kandalkar, focused on enhancing students’ readiness for industry roles.

Overall, the month of April reflected ITM BBA’s continuous efforts to seamlessly blend academic learning with experiential opportunities, ensuring the holistic development of students and preparing them to become future-ready professionals
