BODH GAYA, July 21— The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya) has earned international accreditation from AACSB International (AACSB), becoming the 6th among 22 IIMs in India to join the top 6% of business schools worldwide.
Located in Bodh Gaya, a global centre of learning and enlightenment, IIM Bodh Gaya hosts over 1,700 students across five long-duration, fully residential programs: the flagship Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA in Digital Business & AI (DB & AI), MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management (HHM), the 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), Ph.D. in Management, and one Executive MBA program. The institute uniquely embeds Mindfulness into its academic framework, fostering emotionally mature, socially responsible, and ethically driven business leaders.
Established in 1916, AACSB International is the world’s largest and most recognized business education alliance. Earning AACSB accreditation represents the gold standard of quality in business education. The accreditation journey was built on rigorous quality benchmarking, initiated by the key visit of AACSB South Asia Head Mr. Prathap Das in August 2025 to assess campus infrastructure and quality systems, and culminated in the final Peer Review Team visit in March 2026.
Celebrating the achievement, Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, stated:
”Earning AACSB accreditation is a historic testament to our institutional maturity and relentless pursuit of excellence. This success belongs to our robust internal processes, the strategic vision of our Board of Governors, the unwavering dedication of our faculty and non-faculty team members, and the mindful leadership of our students. Together, we have built an ecosystem benchmarked against the finest global standards.”
As an accredited member of AACSB International, IIM Bodh Gaya expands its global footprint, enhancing international research collaborations, dual-degree initiatives, and student exchange partnerships across five continents.
