The camp combines experiential and inquiry-based learning with hands-on activities focused on Critical Thinking, Computational Thinking, Life Skills, and Public Speaking. Students will also participate in product development challenges, dramatics, arts, dance, indoor sports, and interactive fun sessions. A key addition to this year’s curriculum is Computational Thinking, which introduces students to problem-solving through sequences, flowcharts, logical reasoning, and the foundational concepts behind programming. More than 30 student volunteers from IIIT-Delhi will mentor participants throughout the camp, providing guidance, encouragement, and opportunities for peer learning.

Addressing the students during the inauguration, Prof. Sumit Darak, Dean of Academic Affairs, IIIT-Delhi, appreciated huge interests received from participants and highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence at a young age. “Make the most of this opportunity. Learn at least one new skill, make new friends, interact actively with your mentors, and share your knowledge with fellow participants. The Summer Camp is not just about learning: it is about discovering your potential, growing together and envisioning the goals you want to achieve in the future,” he said.
