July 27: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, through its Placement Directorate, is organising the 65th Campus Placement Programme for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants, primarily for candidates who qualified the CA Final Examination held in May 2026.
The Campus Placement Programme is one of ICAI’s flagship initiatives aimed at providing a structured, transparent and technology-driven platform connecting newly qualified Chartered Accountants with leading organisations across diverse sectors. The programme facilitates access to career opportunities in areas such as finance, taxation, audit, consulting, risk management, analytics, banking, manufacturing and information technology.
The 65th Campus Placement Programme has received an encouraging response, with 6,399 newly qualified Chartered Accountants registering for placement opportunities out of 7931 passed candidates in May 2026. In the first phase of the programme, 78 organisations are participating across nine major centres and have notified 5,339 vacancies as of now.
Interviews under the programme will be conducted at 29 centres across India during August and September 2026, as per the following schedule:

To further strengthen its placement ecosystem, ICAI has introduced technology-enabled recruitment processes, employer outreach initiatives, candidate orientation programmes, psychometric and aptitude assessments, career counselling, and industry-focused capacity-building programmes.”
ICAI invites recruiting organisations to connect with talented, professionally trained Chartered Accountants at the start of their careers. At the same time, it provides newly qualified members with opportunities to engage with prospective employers and explore diverse career opportunities across industries and locations.
During the 63rd Campus Placement Programme held in April – May 2026 over 2570 candidates were placed, with the highest domestic package of ₹27.50 lakh per annum and average CTC of Rs. 13.00 lakh per annum.
