July 27: Dreams often begin with a single step, and for Ansh Kumar, a Grade 8 student at Birla Open Minds International School, Daltonganj, that step has led to an achievement of international acclaim. Ansh has made the school proud by securing an International Rank of 118 and School Rank 1 in the LogiQids Olympiad 2025–26, standing out among thousands of participants from across the globe.
The Olympiad was conducted in two stages, with the first round held at the school level and the second conducted online. According to the school’s LogiQids Coordinator, nearly 3,100 schools participated in this year’s competition, making Ansh’s achievement a remarkable milestone that reflects his dedication, analytical thinking, and perseverance.
For Ansh, this was his first experience participating in an international-level Olympiad. While the scale of the competition initially made him nervous, he embraced the challenge with determination and confidence. Through regular practice using LogiQids worksheets and the constant encouragement of his teachers, he steadily strengthened his logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. His journey from apprehension to accomplishment is an inspiring reminder that courage and consistent effort can transform aspirations into achievements.
The success also marks an important milestone for Birla Open Minds International School as it continues to strengthen computational thinking among students.
