Apr 14: Cape Breton University (CBU), one of Canada’s leading public universities, announced a high-level delegation visit to India aimed at strengthening strategic academic partnerships, prompting policy engagement, and expanding global education pathways for Indian students.
Led by President & Vice Chancellor David C. Dingwall, the visit will span six cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad, bringing together key stakeholders to engage in a series of high-impact meetings.
The delegation aims to seed institutional collaborations and MOUs to foster bilateral growth opportunities through structured mobility frameworks and stronger institutional linkages across academia, industry, and policy.
Speaking about the visit, David C. Dingwall, President & Vice Chancellor, Cape Breton University, says,

The visit will include engagements with key government representatives, including senior state leadership, as well as collaborations with institutions such as BML Munjal University, Amity University, Parul University, Navrachana University, and LJ University, underscoring CBU’s commitment to deepening its presence in India.
President Dingwall is further scheduled to meet with industry bodies such as the National Economic Forum, and State Council of Educational Research and Training, Telangana marking a strategic step towards bridging academia with economic policy and industry insights.
