The Graphic Era family came together to celebrate the institution’s remarkable achievements, rich traditions, and illustrious journey. The occasion marked the 16th Foundation Day of Graphic Era Hill University.

A special program was organised to celebrate the 16th Foundation Day. Addressing the gathering, Pro-Chancellor Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma stated that the day is not just a celebration but also an important opportunity for introspection and setting future directions. He emphasised the need to evaluate past achievements while moving forward with new goals, as the future holds immense possibilities.
Dr Sharma also appreciated the visionary thinking, strong leadership, and unwavering dedication of the Chairman of the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Prof. Kamal Ghanshala. He noted that under Prof. Ghanshala’s leadership, the institution has not only set new benchmarks in academic excellence but has also paved the way for continuous progress through innovation, quality, and a global outlook.
Vice-Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University, Dr Narpinder Singh, remarked that Graphic Era is not merely an academic institution but a dynamic centre of knowledge, innovation, and research, providing students with opportunities for both academic excellence and holistic development.
Vice-Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Dr Amit R. Bhatt, stated that the true strength of any institution lies in its people. He described teachers as pillars of knowledge and inspiration, highlighting that their emotional connection with students forms the soul of the institution. He also referred to students as the driving force behind its energy, identity, and future direction.
During the program, faculty members, including Dr Vishal Sagar, Dr Himani Binjola, Dr Ajay Saini, and Shweta Chauhan, shared their experiences, describing the institution as more than just a profession—a meaningful journey. They highlighted that the inspiring environment, leadership guidance, and strong bonds with colleagues and students motivate them to continuously learn and strive for excellence. The celebration also featured musical performances by faculty members, along with vibrant cultural presentations. Team Devasthali’s performance of Uttarakhand’s folk dances, along with other cultural acts, added colour, energy, and enthusiasm to the event.
The celebration began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Pro Chancellor Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellors Dr Narpinder Singh and Dr Amit R. Bhatt, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Santosh S. Sarraf, Registrar Dr Naresh Kumar Sharma, and Dean of Academics Dr Pramod S. Nair. A grand cake-cutting ceremony was also held to mark the occasion. The event was attended by officials, deans, heads of departments, and faculty members from both Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University.
