Aug 21: At just 16, Zidaan Samir Thakran, a Year 11 student at Kings’ School Al Barsha in Dubai, is turning his passion for technology into a growing digital education movement across Bihar. He launched AIsha, a youth led initiative in partnership with KCS Foundation India, with a vision to bring computer education, coding and emerging technology learning opportunities to children across Real Bharat.

“I believe technology can open up a world of possibilities for every child. Through AIsha, I want to make computer education, coding and AI more accessible to young learners and help them discover what they are capable of. Reaching 1,566 students is a proud milestone, and my goal is to take this journey to many more communities across Real Bharat and India,” said Zidaan Samir Thakran, Founder, AIsha.
AIsha has now reached 1,566 students across Bihar, bringing computer education, coding and digital learning to young learners in underserved communities. The initiative began with a 20-computer learning lab in Samastipur, with Zidaan personally designing the curriculum and developing a train the trainer model that equips local educators to deliver the programme and expand its reach to more students.
Zidaan conducts sessions remotely from Dubai every weekend and mentors the local trainers. Recently, he travelled to Samastipur and interacted with more than 1,500 students, experiencing the impact of AIsha first hand.
As technology and AI become increasingly important to education and future careers, access to digital learning can play an important role in preparing young people for the opportunities ahead. AIsha aims to take technology education deeper into Real Bharat, enabling more young learners to develop digital skills and explore new possibilities.
Zidaan is now working towards establishing a second computer laboratory in Bihar, with the vision of expanding AIsha across India and introducing more students to computer education, coding and AI.
