September 30: Zscaler, Inc., the cybersecurity platform for the AI era, is investing in the next phase of its growth across the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region with the appointment of Sanjay Yadave as Senior Vice President, APJ. With his track record of growing the Greater Asia business over the past two years, Yadave has been promoted from Vice President & Managing Director, Greater Asia, as Zscaler looks to further accelerate its growth momentum amid rapid enterprise adoption of agentic AI across the region.
In his new role, Yadave will lead Zscaler‘s business across APJ, overseeing people growth, business strategy and investment in the region. He will lead the business across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, South Korea and the Greater China Region.
Since joining Zscaler in 2024, Yadave has played a key role in advancing the company’s growth across Greater Asia. Under his leadership, the business has expanded its data centre offerings, strengthened its presence in South Korea, Indonesia and the Philippines, and opened a new Singapore office to support greater collaboration across its growing regional team. Zscaler has also continued to build momentum with leading brands across Greater Asia, including BDO Bank, Korea Zinc, International SOS, PT Bank Hibank, and NCS.
With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Yadave brings a strong track record of strategic leadership, team building, and deep customer and partner engagement. Prior to Zscaler, he held senior leadership roles at VMware, Amazon Web Services, and BT, where he led large-scale regional teams and helped drive growth across key Asia Pacific markets.
