Now in its 11th edition, the Avtar & Seramount Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) study is a workplace benchmarking platform focused on gender inclusion in India. It recognizes organizations demonstrating strong practices for women at work and provides insights into approaches that support the attraction, retention and advancement of women across the talent lifecycle.
The study provides an external benchmark for organizations to assess and strengthen their gender inclusion practices. Its data-led assessment draws on organizational metrics across workplace culture, inclusion, leadership effectiveness, and policies and practices supporting women across the employee lifecycle. Inputs from surveys, interviews, focus groups and policy and process reviews enable organizations to measure progress, identify gaps and strengthen workplace practices against evolving market standards.
