Pune, Aug 14: Wellington College International Pune has appointed Vikram Soni as its Head of Admissions and Marketing, reinforcing the school’s commitment to building one of India’s most globally benchmarked K-12 institutions.
Established as India’s first school under the prestigious Wellington College UK network, Wellington College International Pune offers the English National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), bringing together academic excellence, pastoral care and future-ready learning within an international community representing over 20 nationalities.
With more than a decade of experience spanning admissions, marketing, communications, brand strategy and educational leadership, Vikram joins Wellington at a significant stage in the school’s journey.
An MBA graduate from William Carey University, Vikram began his professional career in advertising, working with leading brands including Cinepolis, Coca-Cola, Forevermark, Asia Hospital and NoMarks (Ozone Pharmaceuticals), where he developed expertise in strategic marketing, brand building and consumer engagement.
Over the past decade, Vikram has built an accomplished career in international school leadership, holding key admissions, marketing and communications roles at Cathedral Vidya School, Wisdom International School in China, Mussoorie International School and Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, part of Nord Anglia Education. Across these institutions, he has led initiatives spanning admissions, brand strategy, communications, community engagement and external relations, contributing to enrolment growth, stronger institutional visibility and enhanced parent engagement.
At Wellington, Vikram will lead the school’s admissions, marketing and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening brand visibility, deepening engagement with prospective families, expanding outreach across India and overseas, and supporting the continued growth of the school’s international community and upcoming boarding programme.
