India, Aug 13: Fabric-first apparel brand Wellbi has added Zerodha to its growing corporate client portfolio, supplying T-shirts for the company’s entire team. The company-wide order comprised 1,150 T-shirts and adds to Wellbi’s presence in corporate apparel.

For Media: Wellbi Becomes Zerodha's Corporate Apparel Partner

“A good T-shirt has three basic requirements: it should hold its colour, retain its shape after washing, and fit well. Wellbi T-shirts are highly breathable and feel great,” said Karthik Rangappa, Chief of Education at Zerodha, who was already a Wellbi customer before recommending the brand for Zerodha’s company-wide order.

Zerodha is the newest addition to Wellbi’s roster of corporate apparel clients across technology, financial services, hospitality and other sectors, including Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Amazon and JW Marriott, among others.

For Wellbi, the order reinforces a proposition it has been building around corporate apparel: that a company T-shirt should work as clothing first and branded merchandise second. The Mysuru-based brand has developed three proprietary bamboo-cotton blends for different use cases, with a focus on qualities that consumers experience directly, including softness, breathability, moisture management and all-day comfort.

That approach traces back to Wellbi’s beginnings in Mysuru in 2021. Founder and CEO Supreeth Kashyap began with an interest in rural development that led him to work with handlooms and rural artisans. As the team spent more time understanding textiles and listening to customers, the opportunity shifted from creating another apparel label to improving the fabric itself and the comfort people experience every day.

“For us, trust has always started with the product. A company can give an employee a T-shirt once, but we don’t want that T-shirt to remain in the wardrobe after the event is over. If the employee voluntarily reaches for it again, to work, while travelling, at home or over the weekend, that is when we believe we’ve made a good product,” said Supreeth Kashyap, Founder and CEO, Wellbi.

The company has expanded beyond T-shirts into polos, performance wear, innerwear and women’s wear. Beyond its corporate apparel business, Wellbi also sells directly to consumers through wellbi.in and marketplaces including Amazon and Myntra. Across these channels, the company has crossed ₹1 crore in monthly revenue.

At its core, the Zerodha order is a reminder of what Wellbi set out to build: apparel that earns a place in someone’s everyday wardrobe, not just their event-day one. For a brand built around a fabric-first approach, that remains the most meaningful measure of success.
