Mumbai, India June 10: Visa (NYSE: V), today announced an enhanced value proposition for its Platinum and Classic consumer credit and debit card portfolio in India, offering always-on benefits across everyday spend with seamless redemption and wider merchant access. 

The refreshed offering represents one of the largest deployments of long-term large-scale benefits for this category in India, reaching over 290 million cards. It brings together curated benefits across high-frequency categories such as food, e-commerce, OTT, travel and retail, enabling consistent value across both online and in-store experiences. 

Visa has partnered with leading brands such as Swiggy, Zepto, Meesho, Instamart and Abhibus; OTT platforms such as SonyLiv and Zee5; and retail partners including Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Max, Lulu, More and Star Bazaar.

The offering enables Visa cardholders to derive value across both everyday and occasional spends, with benefits that are simple to access and relevant across online and offline environments. Eligible customers can also benefit from a welcome voucher upto INR 250 on new credit card issuance, along with access to international airport lounge privileges. 

Consumer cards remain a significant segment within India’s payments landscape. As payment preferences evolve, this refreshed offering is designed to strengthen the relevance of Visa’s credit & debit portfolio. 

The enhanced portfolio also builds on Visa’s strong network of merchant partnerships and is designed to support issuers in delivering differentiated and compelling propositions to their cardholders.
