BOSTON, Sept 15 –Velotic is expanding its physical and digital presence with the establishment of its global headquarters in Boston, a growing presence in Hyderabad, India, and the launch of Velotic.com, marking the latest phase in the development of the independent industrial software company.
Formed earlier this year, Velotic brought together Kepware, Proficy, and ThingWorx in a new company dedicated to industrial operations. Today, Velotic has more than 1,200 employees globally, more than 150 partners worldwide, and serves more than 8,000 customers across manufacturing, energy, utilities, infrastructure, and other critical industries.
Velotic has established its global headquarters at 268 Summer Street in Boston’s Fort Point district. Approximately 45% of Velotic’s U.S.-based employees are located across New England. The Boston location provides a place to bring together employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
The company is also establishing a significant presence in Hyderabad, India, with approximately 250 employees across product, engineering, and services. Located in the heart of Hyderabad’s technology district, the office gives Velotic access to the region’s technology and engineering talent.
With the launch of Velotic.com, Velotic establishes the company’s own digital home. Kepware, Proficy, and ThingWorx content and resources previously hosted within GE Vernova and PTC environments are transitioning to Velotic’s digital presence, giving customers and partners a direct destination to learn about the portfolio and access resources.
