Chandigarh, May 02: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced its sales performance for April 2026, recording total sales of 32,086 units, marking a 17% growth compared to 27,329 units sold in April 2025.

The company’s domestic sales stood at 30,159 units, registering a strong 21% year-on-year growth, while exports accounted for 1,927 units during the month.

Monthly Performance (April 2026 vs April 2025):

  • Domestic Sales: 30,159 units vs 24,833 units (up 21%)
  • Exports: 1,927 units vs 2,496 units (down 23%)
  • Total Sales: 32,086 units vs 27,329 units (up 17%)

Year-to-Date Performance (January–April 2026 vs 2025):

  • Domestic Sales: 1,26,651 units vs 1,05,798 units (up 20%)
  • Exports: 10,543 units vs 9,359 units (up 13%)
  • Total Sales: 1,37,194 units vs 1,15,157 units (up 19%)

Commenting on the performance, Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, TKM, said,

“Our sales performance in April 2026 reflects steady and sustained progress, driven by a strong focus on customer centricity, product excellence, and disciplined execution across markets. A key highlight during the month was the Toyota Innova HyCross achieving the 2-lakh cumulative sales milestone, reinforcing the growing acceptance of our hybrid offerings.”

He further added that despite evolving industry conditions, the company continues to witness consistent growth, supported by technological innovation, an expanding product portfolio, and a robust dealer network.

The strong performance underscores Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s continued momentum in the Indian automotive market, driven by customer trust and increasing demand for hybrid mobility solutions.
